Approximately, 30,000 students go to Canada each year for both short term and long term programs. There are many reasons for this; one being that this year marks the 40th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Canada and Korea. There have been many high-profiled events held throughout the year highlighting Canada in a positive light. These celebrations reflect the economic, political and social relationships Korea shares with Canada.

장기간과 단기간으로 1년에 대략 30.000명의 학생이 캐나다를 방문합니다. 올해는 캐나다와 한국이 서로 관계를 맺은지 40년째 되는 해로서, 캐나다의 긍적적인 부분들이 올해 한국에 많은 사람들에게 널리 알려졌다고 생각합니다.

It is an excellent experience for young Korean students to visit Canada during the holidays. Students will be exposed not only to the Canadian education system that focuses on originality and individuality, but also be exposed to how Canadians take care and preserve their majestic forests and natural environment.

젊은 한국인들이 방학을 통하여 캐나다를 방문하는 것은 정말 좋은 경험이라고 생각합니다. 학생들은 캐나다 현지 학생의 교육 제도 뿐만 아니라 캐나다 인들이 자연과 환경을 얼마나 중요시 여기는지도 알게될수 있는 기회입니다.

As we move towards and increasingly digital and international society, we hope this program will assist young people in improving their English skills and giving them the tools to exchange ideas in an international community. We like to thank Kakyo for providing this program.
