Drexel University는 1891년에 설립된 이래 학생들에게 매우

있으며 학생 수는 12,000명이 넘는다.
1989년에 설립된 English
Language Center은 Drexel대학의 부설 기관입니다. 미국
대학 진학을 준비하는 학생들에게 대학 진학 혹은 진학 후에 필요한 영어교육,
그리고 미국 사회생활에 필요한 교육제공을 목표로 미국 문화에 대한 이해와
영어실력향상을 위해 다양한 프로그램을 전개하고 학생들이 효율적으로 영어를
배울 수 있고 미국 문화에 쉽게 적응할 수 있도록 한다.
상급반 이상의 학생들은 Drexel University의 일부 수업 청강이
가능하고 성공적인 과정 이수 후에 이 대학 학부로의 조건부 입학이 가능하다.
